Earp, James “Jim”

At the time of the 1921 Canada census, James Earp was ranching at Wolf Creek Ranch, near Copper Mountain. He came from the USA in 1908 and was naturalized in 1920. He did not appear in the 1931 Canada census.
James Earp lived approximately 2 miles north of the Allenby turnoff, on Copper Mountain Road, on the right side of the highway. He left the area quite suddenly, no one really knows where he went, this was around the same time Wyatt Earp was ill and passed away (January 13, 1929).
