Harry Edwards was born in Nova Scotia and before the war was a competitive long distance runner. He served in the 167th Battalion where he was both wounded and gassed but served out the war and returned to Nanaimo. He came to Princeton in 1926.
Harry Edwards, a driver at Blakeburn mine, was killed in the mine disaster on August 13, 1930. His body was recovered on August 14 and he was buried (United Church) on August 18. He came to Princeton in 1926.
