Freeman, V. Paul
V. Paul Freeman was born in Falmouth, Cornwall, England. He was the son of John Albert Freeman and Florence Lee (Collinson) Freeman. He came to Princeton in 1910 with his family.
He signed up early in WW1. He served as Lieutenant on the H.M.S. Pincher (March 1915).
He wrote a series of descriptive letters his parents (which were published in the Similkameen Star) about fighting in the Dardanelles (1915).
In January 1919, he was a First Lieutenant (Royal Navy) on the Flagship Cardiff. After he served on the Cardiff, he served on the H.M.S. Tiger.
