Edith Margaret (Nixon) Gill
Allan Gill was born on February 17, 1909 in Cranbrook, BC. He married Edith Nixon on June 29, 1935 in Cranbrook. At the time of his marriage, he was working as a miner in Cranbrook. He died on May 22, 1990 in Princeton, BC.
In April 1943, at a meeting of the junior members of the Princeton Fish & Game Club, Allan Gill was introduced at the new Game Warden for the area. He remained a conservation officer (Provincial Government) for the rest of his life.
He was active in the Princeton Fish and Game Club. Both Allan and Edith Gill were awarded Life Memberships on April 1908.
They were subscribers to the Similkameen Star: A.F. Gill September 1945, Address: Princeton; September 1947, Address: Cranbrook; Mrs. E. subscribed in December 1946.
