Peter Gottfredson donated time to the United Church annex in November 1931.
He was an active member of the Princeton Players Club, playing in a comedy (1933); a short skit (1938); Shylock in their production of “Merchant of Venice” (1939) and “The Mail Order Wife” (1939); “The Dictator Visits His Mother” (1940).
He presented a lecture (“under the auspices of the University of British Columbia”) on the country of Denmark in March 1939. He also participated in a speaker’s tour with Grant McNeil, Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) member for North Vancouver in December 1939.
The Gottfredson family left Princeton to live in Medicine Hat, Alberta, in September 1943.
