Reference Sim Spotlight March 29, 1967. Born, November 4th, 1889 at Bratnford, Ontario. His father was an Iron Moulder in Brantford, Ont. After spending some time in Detroit, Michigan, Edward Haffey came to Penticton in the year 1910, when the Kettle Valley Line was beginning to consider a railway line toward Princeton, Edward was a machinist, a very necessary trade for the development of a young country. He was awarded the Provincial Centennial Pioneer Medallion in Sept. 1971. Died in Delta BC April 30/79 age 92
