Horrocks, John “Lanky”
Active near-octogenarian, out of hospital after 10 days. Business called Spaffords, Second Hand Store. (Sim. star, December 12, 1950) He came from England in 1911. veteran, he was alive in 1976. He attended a Legion meeting. June 9. Worked for Pr. Coal & Land Co. 1909 (Sim* July 12, 1962) Largely instrumental in securing the building used as an office for the Legion in 1924. He was presented Royal Can. Legion 1962. He was at the grand opening of the Royal Canadian Legion on July 7th, 1962. His home is an exact duplicate of the first house built in Princeton, Star Sub 9/38 He was a pioneer, was employed at the Princeton Land and Coal Company.
