Came to Canada 1928 farmed tobacco in Ontario.
Lived in Princeton 34 years in 1934 worked in coal mines later prospected.
Died August 27, 1968 at the age of 79 Came to Princeton in 1934. The still remained in use till 1958 Virginny said ‘It ai’nt much of a still i could drink all it holds in one night’ The still was located behind Wright’s ranch check exact loc. 1977 September – was shown at the Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver. Judge Virginia Hubbard passed away Tuesday morning in the Princeton Hospital at the age of 79. Judge or Virginia as he was known in Princeton had lived in this town for 34 years. He was a friend of the children. He was often seen with two or three children sitting with him and he was the greatest wood whittler in Princeton.
Carson Hubbard is survived by two brothers Greer and Travis, who reside in the southern states. Mr. Hubbard came to Canada in 1928 and farmed tobacco in Ontario9. He came to Princeton in 1934 and went to work in the coal mines and later prospected. He had a great sense of humour and never lost his southern accent. August 28, 1968
