He came to British Columbia in 1956; and to Princeton in 1958 where he worked one year for the Village of Princeton and then retired in 1975. He served in the Canadian Army for five years. A member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 25 years. For several years he was a member of the Fish and Game Club and at one time belonged to the Orange Association in Princeton.
