Died in 1945 age 81 Chief engineer of the Kettle Valley Rlwy. 1913-14 K.V.R from Hope to Midway. He was General Superintendent from 1918-1933 Born in 1864-1945 d. Dave Taylor Andys Kettle Valley R.R. article McC. had engineered construction of railways in the Maritimes and Can. Northwest. working for the Grand Trunk and Great Northern as well as CPR which he joined in 1907 serving in the construction dept. at Montreal headquarters. In 1910 Shaughnessy, president, commissioned him to build the Kettle Valley linking its Kootenay line which ran to Midway with its main line at Hope. His daughter Ruth of UBC names the section stations on the Coquihalla with Shakespearean names. as well as one McCollough and one Ruth (now abandoned)
