Born in Irma, Alberta on November 30, 1919. He came to Princeton 1927. The family first lived at East Princeton. There was a school facing the Hedley Rd. at the corner of Cement St. Clarence attended school there with his sisters and the Allison children, among many others. The family moved to 5 Mile Creek about 1931. When he returned from the army he helped his father and brothers operate McInroy Sawmill. Clarence worked 12 years at McIntyre Coal Mine, Grand Cache, Alta. He returned to Princeton in 1987. Clarence was killed accidentally on Hwy. 40, near Grande Cache, Alberta on October 13, 1990 age 70.
