Violet Cornish was born on March 4, 1922 in Vancouver, BC. She was the daughter of Herbert George “George” Cornish and Florence (Blackmun) Cornish.
She married Frederick Miller on June 2, 1940 in Vancouver, BC. She died in Kamloops, BC.
The family moved frequently but returned to Princeton and Tulameen regularly. All of the Miller children attended Princeton Secondary School. After her husband died she moved to Lake Cowichan to care for her mother Florence.
In 1992, she returned again to Princeton. And then, as she aged, she moved to Kamloops.
