Jack Munsie owned the place at Round Lake which formerly belonged to Martin and Higgman. He grew hay and raised beef cattle. After WW2 the Kettle Valley Sawmills was run by Jack Munsie. Munsie’s had four sons, none of them in Princeton now. He was a trustee for the Long Term Care Society in 1978 Elected Rep for Regional District Electorial Area H December 1970 Came to Princeton with wife Dorothy in May 1947
Served as ILMA President in 1962 – 1963, opened a mill in 1947 at Summers Creek. He operated Kettle Valley Lumber Co. until 1966 when it sold to Nicola Valley Sawmills Ltd. President of Rotary Club, Curling Club Was on hospital board WWII Veteran
