Came to Copper Mountain in 1919 after his father was killed in Greenwood Worked at the machine shop at Copper mountain Mine from age 16 then as a machinist at Allenby. Employed by Dept of highways until retirement, 1975. Crusader for improving employee conditions. Served on many arbitration boards. Instrumental in incorporation of Princeton as a Village. First Chairman of the Village Commission in Princeton, 1951. Served for 19 years. He got Princeton going in the 1950’s, Princeton soon had water, sewers and sidewalks.
