Roland, Percy Edward
Ref: K. Seaman After WWI Percy Roland and Billy Green owned the place where John Huey is now. Percy Roland was English i think, only one in the country who had a car at one time. WHen anyone wanted to go to town Percy would take them in the one mile taxi but i dont think he ever recieved money for his trouble. Bought Fred Oelrich’s plac eabout 1900. While serving overseas during WWI, Neil Huston and Jim Slater lived on his place, till he returned. Once back home he raised cattle and a few horses. Billy Green cooked and kept house for him. District Lot 819 KDYD original Crown Grant given to Frederick Henry Oelrich in 1903.
If Percy Rowlands bought from Oelrich would be after 1903.
John C Huey and wife Minnie owned the ranch for many years.
Do not see another Crown Grant in Oelrich name, but Lot 819 is definitely connected to John Huey and Oelrich.
