Frederick Rudin was born on August 16, 1874, in Switzerland. He married and after his first wife died, he married Addie Archibald (on December 26, 1919) at the home of Mrs. Allison. Frederick Rudin died on October 20, 1947, at Vancouver General Hospital. At the time of his death, he was living in the Nazko Valley, employed as postmaster.
In 1921, The Princeton Star (May 6) reported that “Mrs. F. Rudin, of Summers Creek” was admitted to Princeton General Hospital for appendicitis. In July of that same year, R. Skinner and Fred Rudin spent the fall and winter “prospecting, hunting and trapping” in the Ootsa Lake area (1921).
