Dear Mr. Currie, Having lived in Allenby from June 27 to May 31 and May 37 to Sept 58. I have found your book Princeton BC extremely interesting and nostalgic. To see the Allenby store (Pg 124) where i helped as a teenager, the Copper Mountain Bunkhouse Fire (pg 51), where i lost all my worldly belongings, Reverend Goodfellow who buried my father in 1930 etc, etc, was a real thrill. Of course the picture of the Basketball Team brings back many memories of travel to Kelowna, Penticton etc. in my 1937 Chev Sedan (Pg 68) incidently my name is spelled Stan Sawrey. From your book i learned of the death of Perry BarHall and Dr. Paul Phillips – good friends. I was in Princeton in July 1980 driving through after visiting the cemetary where my father and mother are interred. Unfortunately it was a saturday so there was no one around . I am now fully retired from engineering career so your book allows me to go back many years, yours truely, Stan Sawrey
