A.M.A. (Andy) Stenvold, 1884-1965, of Vestvagen, Norway and Olive Johansen, 1885-1973, of Valnesfjord, Norway were married August 1, 1914, in Phoenix, BC. They had three children: Carl Henning Meyer, born March 22, 1916, Jessie Alice, born May 1, 1918, and Pauline Dorothy, born June 12, 1919. Andy came to Canada as an interpreter for 30 immigrants to work on railroads and mines. Came to Princeton in 1919 and lived about 2 miles up the Similkameen. Built the Princeton Ski Club (ski jumping hill). Belonged to the ski Club – Nordic. Operated a dairy, later known as Similkameen Dairy, Star sub A.Stenvold 3/42 & 3/45 Mes. A. 1427 Townline Rd, 3.47 R.R,7, New Westminster. Other photos in POV.
