Aldo Vickery was born on September 10, 1912 in Phoenix, BC. He married Marguerite/Margaret Corsi in Princeton, on January 16, 1937. He died on August 23, 1985, in Victoria, BC.
He attended Princeton School (promoted from Grade 5 to Grade 6) in June 1926.
He played hockey for Copper Mountain in 1928, 1929 and was on the Traveller’s Cafe team in 1930, 1931. In 1934, he was playing on the Tulameen Mine team.
He was boxing in 1929 and was also involved wrestling at Copper Mountain (1930), and in Princeton (September 1931). He played baseball as well and was on the Princeton Garage team in July 1933.
In February 1933, Vickery, who was living at the City Rooms in Princeton, was charged with, and convicted of, assault. Since he had a prior conviction, he was fined $20.00.
Vickery was unemployed and on a committee to raise awareness of the lower rates for relief in BC than in Alberta in February 1934.
Their first(?) son was born in Princeton on July 27, 1939.
In October 1940, he donated 3.00 to the Red Cross.
The Vickery family left Princeton before 1945.
