Not Entirely Accurate Story of Princeton’s Radio Station – Presentation by George Elliott
From June 1972 until April 1999, Princeton had its own local radio station complete with studio and local staff. It was sometimes comical, often unprofessional, and somewhat unusual, but the people involved took it seriously…most of the time. This presentation, based on some factual information, and several fuzzy and fractured memories, will discuss Princeton’s own radio station in a story where fact and fiction are blurred from start to finish.
George Elliot has spent 40 plus years in the media industry including radio, newspapers, and online publishing. He was the assistant manager of Princeton’s radio station CKRP.
